The bar space is reopened but on a more restrictive basis, with fewer tables and chairs to avoid over-crowding.

We have developed our own bar ordering app so that you can order drinks on any device which allows you internet access. You do not need to download anything. By following the link https://www.criteriontheatre.co.uk/bar you can order, pay for and track the delivery progress of your drinks. Simply order and pay for your drinks, and they will then be delivered to a collection point. The app will tell you that your drinks have been delivered. Drinks can be pre-ordered for a particular performance and for after the show. 

How do I use the bar app?

You can access the bar app at https://www.criteriontheatre.co.uk/bar. Where possible, please order for the pre-show BEFORE 6.30PM ON THE NIGHT OF THE PRODUCTION YOU ARE ATTENDING. Because of social distancing regs, we could potentially have only one person behind the bar at one time. It helps if you can order your drink in good time. Any drinks ordered after this time may not be ready for you.

Can I buy a drink at the bar?

Yes you can, but this will be by card or contactless payment only. 

The Theatre is completely cashless at the moment.
